Information We Collect
Generally, we collect two types of information when you are using our Site - information you provide to us and information we collect by tracking and monitoring. You may browse the Site without directly providing any Personal Information (though we may automatically collect certain non-sensitive information such as IP Address and log information). However, we may ask that you provide information, including Personal Information, at various times and locations through the Site. For example, if you decide to request information through the Site or sign up for email notifications, you will be asked to provide general contact information such as your name and email address. When using forms on the Site to communicate with us, you may be asked to provide other Personal Information, such as your name, company name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. We may collect and store any Personal Information you input into the Site and will only use such information to answer your information requests or provide you email notifications that you have signed up for. When you use a QR code or URL to access the Services, we collect (i) the type of device used ( iPhone, Android, Desktop App, or Web App), (ii) the users email address only if they have chosen the option to create a private user name and password to log in (which is optional), (iii) the application(s), section(s), and topic(s) visited, and user geolocation data unless the user has opted out of that collection. Conveyer applications may include Conveyer customer-created forms (like warranty registration or parts orders) that collect user information provided voluntarily provided by the user, but that information is directly collected by the customer’s website, although Conveyer may collect anonymous counts of the categories accessed.
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information when you transmit it from your computer to the Site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Site may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us or open from us via e-mail. While every effort and measure are taken to reduce the risk of data breaches, we have dedicated controls and procedures in place for such situations, along with the procedures that are required to make notifications to the relevant supervisory authority and data subjects (where applicable).
